In Saigon of the 1990's, Vu, a photography student, dreams of living his homosexuality in all its glory. As he immortalises his entourage in pictures, desire intoxicates the protagonists, caught up in their reality. When they are forced to flee from the city and take refuge in the countryside, their passions mount and their desires are revealed. With sensational cinematography - both visually and acoustically - Phan Dang Di questions the reality of gays in Vietnam and the social codes between women and men through the eyes of a generation that does not dream of any sort of future.
