Save the date! 

 

The 22nd edition of Pink Screens, the Brussels Queer Cinema Festival organised by Genres d’à Côté and Cinéma Nova, will take place from 9th to 18th November 2023! 

 

We will be returning to our favourite cinemas and loyal partners in Brussels: Nova, Aventure, Palace, Galeries and Beursschouwburg.

 

Over the course of 10 days, around 100 films coming from all corners of life, an exhibition, several discussions, multiple guests and quirky parties, Pink Screens will once again make you travel the world, allthewhile spotlighting a multiplicity of viewpoints, bodies and sexualities. 

 

Our unwavering and crucial mission is to be a platform for (self-)expression and discovery for those who like to “deconstruct gender binaries and normative representations”. 

 

We will be unveiling our forever ambitious programme end of September! 

 

In the meantime, our team is proud to present the poster design for this year, which was created by the illustrator Marie Casaÿs, whose work was featured in the Pink Screens exhibition a few years previously. The artist has, for this edition, worked with Duotone colours, and thus shares her love for the sensuality and charisma of the body in it’s diversity, which she finds in photographs, via pencil drawings on paper. As to the typography and formatting, they were developed by the Belgian graphic studio Kidnap Your Designer.
