At the end of the 1980s, young students enter the famous theatre school founded by Patrice Chéreau and Pierre Romans at Les Amandiers in Nanterre. There they discover another world of play and freedom, but also themselves, power relationships, the ambiguity of desire, first loves, the throes of the AIDS epidemic and the tragedies of life. Directed by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and featuring a remarkable cast including Louis Garel, this beautiful film was presented at the Cannes Film Festival.
