El Príncipe

The first sequence opens on the severed neck of a young man in his twenties, surrounded by a puddle of blood. Cut to the next sequence, the arrival of the young assassin in a penitentiary and his meeting with "EL Potro", one of the oldest prisoners, who immediately baptizes him "The Prince" and takes him under his protection. An intense relationship ensues, but the filmmaker, while filling his film with particularly hot sequences, never lets the viewer ignore the violent environment in which the young man finds himself. "El Príncipe" is both the story of a survival and the story of the emancipation of a young man condemned to spend his life in prison hell.
