Synopsis
Diamantino, a pure football icon, is able to dodge the most frightening of defenses. During the most important match of his life, his genius stops working. His career comes to a halt and the fallen star seeks a new direction in life. Deploying an uncategorized visual universe with delightful kitsch accents, the two directors drag us into insane adventures involving the migration crisis, wild genetics and identity issues. The film is also the radiant portrait of a sensitive and astonishing boy.
